The Commissioners' Court of Calhoun County, Texas will meet on May 26, 2011 at 10:00
a.m. in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the County Courthouse at 211 S. Ann Street,
Port Lavaca, Calhoun County, Texas.
AGENDA
The subject matter of such meeting is as follows:
1. Call meeting to order.
2. Invocation.
3. Pledge of Allegiance.
4. Approve Minutes of April 19, 2011 and April 28, 2011 Meetings.
5. Consider and Take Necessary Action on Agreement with Victoria City -County Health
Department Environmental Health Division (VCCHD-EHD) for Environmental Public
Health Services on behalf of Calhoun County. (MP)
6. Consider and Take Necessary Action on request to abandon and vacate roadways
adjacent to what is referred to as Old Town Lake in Indianola, Calhoun County, Texas,
and deed any interest in said roadways to the owner of the property that abuts those
portions of the abandoned and vacated roadways, pursuant to Texas Transportation Code
§251.058(b). (RG)
7. Consider and Take Necessary Action on Easement Agreement with Keith Schmidt
regarding three tracts on land located in Magnolia Beach, Calhoun County, Texas. (RG)
8. Consider and Take Necessary Action on request by Library Director to Apply to Tocker
Foundation for $50,000 to be used to purchase remaining furnishings for Seadrift Branch
Library. (NC)
9. Consider and Take Necessary Action on request by Precinct One to apply for Credit with
Abadak and authorize all necessary signatures. (RG)

14. Consider and take necessary action to accept donations to Calhoun County.
15. Consider and take necessary action on matter of transferring certain items of County
property from one County department to another County Department. (See List)
16. Consider and take necessary action on the matter of declaring certain items of County
property as surplus/salvage. (See List)
17. Consider and take action on any necessary budget adjustments.
18. Consider and take necessary action on single source, emergency and public welfare
purchases and bills.
