The Commissioners' Court of Calhoun County, Texas will meet on March 8, 2012 at 10:00
a.m. in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the County Courthouse at 211 S. Ann Street,
Port Lavaca, Calhoun County, Texas.
The subject matter of such meeting is as follows:
1. Call meeting to order.
2. Invocation.
3. Pledge of Allegiance.
4. Hear Report from Memorial Medical Center.
5. Approve Minutes of December 8, 2011 Meeting.
6. Hear and take necessary action on bond refunding structure comparison presentation by
First Southwest Company, financial advisor. (CM)
7. Hear and take necessary action on proposal from Comm5 Solutions for Phase I (audit)
and Phase II (Documents and Forms) for the Human Resources Department. (MB)
8. Consider and Take Necessary Action to acknowledge the construction -in -progress of
$37,726.93 donated by Friends of Seadrift Library, for a total completed building value
of $284,994.42 on 12/31/2011. (KF)
9. Award bids for Fuel to be Delivered and Fuel on Automated Card System for the period
March 16, 2008 through April 15, 2008. (CM)
10. Consider and Take Necessary Action on Resolution Authorizing Homestead Exemption
of Twenty Percent. (MP)
11. Consider and Take Necessary Action on request by Precinct 42 Commissioner for
authorization to sign an application for credit account with Schwing Diesel Company.

12. Consider and Take Necessary Action on Request by Precinct #2 Commissioner for
authorization to sign an application for credit account with Gulf Coast Hardware, LLC

13. Consider and Take Necessary Action on addition of cell phone to current AT&T plan at

14. Executive Session: The Commissioners' Court shall go into Executive Session as
authorized by V.T.C.A. Government Code Chapter 551. Following is the subject matter
of the Executive Session and the Specific Section of the Open Meetings Act permitting
discussion/deliberation in Executive Session.
Section 551.074 To Deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation,
reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee. The
position to be deliberated is Memorial Medical Center Hospital Board.
15. Consider and take necessary action concerning matters discussed in executive session.
