The Commissioners' Court of Calhoun County, Texas will meet on February 24, 2011 at
10:00 a.m. in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the County Courthouse at 211 S. Ann
Street, Port Lavaca, Calhoun County, Texas.
AGENDA
The subject matter of such meeting is as follows:
1. Call meeting to order.
2. Invocation.
3. Pledge of Allegiance.
4. Approve Minutes of February 10, 2011 Meeting.
5. Consider and take necessary action to award bid for New 3,000 Gallon Tanker for the Six
Mile Volimteer Fire Department. (VL)
6. Consider and take necessary action to approve bid specifications and, authorize the
_ County Auditor's office to advertise for bids for the Calhoun County Depository
Contract. Said contract will run from June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2013 with an option
to extend for an additional two year period. (RK)
7. Consider and take necessary action on, Renewal of Seadrift Coke, L.P. Reinvestment
Zone No. 06-05 for an additional five (5) year period. (MP)
8. Consider and take. necessary action on Resolution of Support for the Creation of a
Groundwater Conservation District. (MP)
9. Consider and take necessary action on Cooperative Working Agreement between
Calhoun County and Dennis and Bridgitt Heinold as it pertains to the grant Application
submitted to the Criminal Justice Division of the Office of the Governor and authorize
County Judge to sign. (LL)
10. Consider and take necessary action on Technical Service Support Agreement with Physio
Control and Calhoun County EMS and authorize Henry Barber to, sign. (HB)
11. Consider and take necessary action on Final Plat of Port Alto West Marina Subdivision.

12. Consider and take necessary action on the following Calhoun County Healthy -Fit
Programs, authorize payroll deductions and loan for 8 week period if needed. (CS)

13. Consider and take necessary action on recommendation by Calhoun County Treasurer
that IBC credit cards be changed to a corporate type card account wherein all cards would
have the, County's name and Employee's name on each individual card. (RK)
14. Consider and take necessary action on Calhoun County Investment Policy for year 2011
and appoint Rhonda S. Kokena, County Treasurer as the Investment Officer for Calhoun
County. (RK)
15. Consider and take necessary action to amend Section 16 of the County Purchasing Policy
by deleting a statement not in compliance with IRS regulations. Meals provided to law
enforcement officers during one -day transports are required to be reported as additional
compensation and will be processed through payroll. (CM)
16. Consider and take necessary action on contract for new Ricoh copier for Precinct One
with IKON Office Solutions and authorize County Judge to sign. (RG)
17. Consider and take necessary action on First Amendment to Amended and Restated
Managed Pharmacy Benefit Services Agreement Consumer Card Program with
Caremarkpcs Health, L.L.C. and Calhoun County as a member of NACO. (MP)
18. Consider and take necessary action on Resolution authorizing Homestead Exemption of
Twenty Percent. (MP)
19. Consider and take necessary action on donation of property to Calhoun County in
Precinct Three. (NF)
20. Consider and take necessary action to, accept Trident Insurance claim settlement in the
amount of $5,118.00 for collision damage to the Precinct 4 Gradall, Asset #24-0379.
