BE IT REMEMBERED, that on this the 3'" day of December, A.D., 2003 there was begun and
holden at the Courthouse in the City of Port Lavaca, said County and State, at 10:00 A.M" a
Special Tenn of the Commissioners' Court within saId County and State, and there were present
on this date the following members of the Court, to-wit:

Thereupon the following proceedings were had:
Commissioner Galvan gave the Invocation and Commissioner Finster led the Pledge of Allegiance.
TAKE ACTION REGARDING INCLUDING THE POSITIONS IN THE DISTRICT
ATTORNEY'S OFFICE IN THE COUNTY'S SALARY SCHEDULE DEVELOPED BY RAY AND
ASSOCIATES AND FUNDING SUCH POSITIONS:
A Motion was made by Commissioner Floyd and seconded by Commissioner Finster to include the
posltlons In the Dlstriet Attorneys office in the County Salary Schedule Developed by Ray and
AssocIates and fund the posltlons to bring them up to the mInimum without supplements.
Commissioners' Galvan, Balajka, Floyd, Finster and Judge PfeIfer all voted in favor.

CONDUCT A SECOND REVIEW OF SPAW MAXWELL'S COST ESTIMATE FOR
RENOVATION OF THE CALHOUN COUNTY COURTHOUSE AND TAKE ACTION DEEMED
APPROPRIATE:
Judge Pfeifer believes it is time for the Court to decide which way they want to go and asked that
the court to go over the cost estimate done by Spaw Maxwell by each line !tern. Spaw Maxwell
wlll be back on Monday, December 8, 2003 to talk with Departments in the Courthouse to
detennlne the office space needed for each department. No actlon was taken at this time.
Court was adjourned at 11:55 am.
