TX 77979 Dear Mr. Galvan: I am a long-time resident of our city, and I am writing to express my interest regarding recent discussion and events at Memorial Medical Center concerning the Board of Directors. As an interested party and fonner employee, I would like to extend my interest in serving on the hospital board representing your district, should an opening arise. I am a registered nurse and feel that my clinical experience of 25 years in nursing would be of great benefit to the hospital. I am also in the process of continuing my education in the health field through courses involving medical billing and coding and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement. My experience with community work is limited, but 1 would be very agreeable to attending any training or seminars that would assist me in learning how to be an effective and efficient board member. I am also an Ail' Foroe veteran and would like to volunteer my time and effort in aiding my community in support of my county and country. I feel that 1 am a fair, open-minded individual that could be of some benefit as a member of the hospital board of directol'S; and maybe bring a sense of balance and new ideas to the Board. My experiences as a military member, and as a nW'Se~ have taught me discipline, compassion, and the ability to evaluate a situation and act accordingly. Please keep me in mind should an opportunity arise in which 1 could, in some small way, be of service to Calhoun county and Memorial Medical Center as a member of the hospital Board of Directors. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, ~~ ,.~ Noelia O.
