NOTICE OF MEETING
The Commissioners' Court of Calhoun County, Texas will meet on Wednesday,
January 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the County Courthouse
at 211 S. Ann Street, Suite 104, Port Lavaca, Calhoun County, Texas.

with the TAC Judges and Commissioners Conference. (RM)
8. Consider and take necessary action to approve a resolution honoring Thomas B.
Hargrove, Jr. (Tommy) in appreciation for his many years of public service. (RM)
9. Consider and take necessary action on the FY 2021 Interlocal Agreement with the City
of Port Lavaca for Fire Protection and authorize the payment of a purchase order in the
amount of $200,664.01 and authorize the County Judge to sign. (RM)
10. Consider and take necessary action on the FY 2021 Interlocal Agreement with the City
of Port Lavaca for Animal Control and authorize the payment of a purchase order in the
amount of $65,000.00 and authorize the County Judge to sign. (RM)

30, Port O'Connor Townsite Outlots as recorded in Volume 2, Page 1 of the Deed
Records of Calhoun County, Texas. (GR)
13. Consider and take necessary action to approve the Preliminary Plat of The Texas
Properties Subdivision. (GR)
14. Public Hearing concerning a Petition to Vacate Lots 14 and 15, Block 1, Koinonia Point as
recorded in Volume Z, Page 778 of the Plat Records of Calhoun County, Texas. (GR)
15. Consider and take necessary action to approve the Preliminary Plat of Koinonia Point
Resubdivision No. 2. (GR)
16. Consider and take necessary action to authorize the Friends of Port O'Connor Library to
update the landscaping at the Port O'Connor Library. (GR)
17. Consider and take necessary action to approve the Preliminary Plat of the Replat of Lots
31, 32, 33 and 34 in Block 1 and the Reserve for Commercial Lot of Swan Point Landing,

authorize Commissioner Hall to sign the one (1) year contract. (DH)
23. Consider and take necessary action to authorize the County Attorney to sign the
Attorney's Certificate of Airport Property Interests for TxDOT Grant. (VL)
24. Consider and take necessary action to extend Administrative Leave in 2021 for
employees with COVID related absences. (RM)

25. Consider and take necessary action to designate the Bauer Community Center as a
courtroom to empanel a jury on February 1, 2021. (RM)
26. Consider and take necessary action to amend the 2021 Forfeiture Fund budget in the
amount of $14,618.96 for salary supplements and FICA for James D. Henderson for the
year 2021. These supplements are for the period of January 1, 2021 through December
311 2021. This is a continuation of the supplements he has been receiving and have
previously been approved by Commissioners' Court. (RM)
27. Consider and take necessary action on insurance proceeds to be received from VFIS in
the amount of $11,598.38 for the Port Lavaca Volunteer Fire Truck for repairs from
December 8, 2020 tire blow-out. (RM)
28. Consider and take necessary action to transfer the equipment on the attached form from
the County Auditor's Office to EMS and the Library. (RM)
29. Consider and take necessary action to declare the equipment on the attached form from
the County Auditor's Office as Surplus/Salvage. (RM)
30. Consider and take necessary action to declare the equipment on the attached form from
Justice of the Peace, Precinct #3 as Waste. (RM)
31. Consider and take necessary action to declare the equipment on the attached form from
Constable, Precinct #4 as Waste. (RM)
