The Commissioners' Court of Calhoun County, Texas will meet on August 27, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in
the Commissioners' Courtroom in the County Courthouse at 211 S. Ann Street, Port Lavaca,
Calhoun County, Texas.
AGENDA
The subject matter of such meeting is as follows:
1. Call meeting to order.
2. Invocation.
3. Pledge of Allegiance.
4. Consider and take necessary action to award Bids for the new Port Alto/Olivia Fire Station and
authorize County Judge to sign contract. (NF)
5. Public Hearing regarding Petition to vacate a 4.4.2 acre portion of Outlot 1, Outblock 15, and a
4.42 acre portion of Outlot 2, Outblock 16, Port O'Connor Townsite Outlots as recorded in

9. Consider and take necessary action to authorize a loan from the General Fund to the Grants fund
of $18,345.00 for the purchase of Recycling Trailer to be procured by TCEQ grant #09-17-G02.

County and Dennis and Bridgitt Heinold for a Community Alternative Program and Approve and
Adopt Resolution approving submission of the grant application for the Community Alternative

11. Consider and take necessary action to amend the Calhoun County Commissioners' Court Rules
and Regulations for Fairgrounds & Agricultural Building Facilities. (RG)

19. Consider and take necessary action to declare the following items of County Property in the
