10. Consider and take necessary action to cancel the Invitation to Bid, approved on
November 17, 2021 for the Calhoun County Boggy Bayou Nature Park Improvements,
Phase 1 Coastal Management Program Cycle 25 Texas General Land Office Contract No.
21-060-013-C673 Port O'Connor, Texas. The Invitation to Bid is being cancelled due to
the County receiving information from the Texas General Land Office on December 2,
2021 that the federal funds are not available and after GLO reached out to NOAA, NOAA
is not sure when the federal funds will be available. The Texas General Land Office
suggested the project hold off on going out for bids until the federal funds are available.
At the County's request, the Texas General Land Office can process a contract extension
beyond the March 31, 2022 deadline since the Special Award Condition (SAC) #8 is
causing a delay. (GR)
