The Commissioners' Court of Calhoun County, Texas will meet on Wednesday, January
30, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the County Courthouse at 211
S. Ann Street, Port Lavaca, Calhoun County, Texas.
AGENDA
The subject matter of such meeting is as follows:
1. Call meeting to order.
2. Invocation.
3. Pledge of Allegiance.
4. Approve Minutes of January 16, 2019 Meeting.
5. Consider and take necessary action on Final Plat ofReplat of Outlot 1, Outblock 12 in
Port O'Connor, Texas. (Witherspoon LLC) (GR)
6. Consider and take necessary action on request by IT for Commissioners' Court support
for TAC provided Cyber Security Training for certain County departments/personnel.

7. Consider and take necessary action on request by the Port O'Connor Chamber to hold the
annual Fireworks display at King Fisher Beach/Park on July 6, 2019 and utilize the park
as a vendor area during the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (GR)
8. Consider and take necessary action on request by Port O'Connor Chamber of
Commerce/Crawfish Fest to sell alcohol at their annual fundraiser to be held April 27,
2019 at Kingfisher Beach in Port O'Connor, Texas and authorize County Judge to sign
letter of approval to the TABC or any other requested documentation. (GR)
9. Consider and take necessary action on request by the Port O'Connor Chamber of
Commerce to use King Fisher Beach/Park April 27, 2019 for their Crawfish Festival.

10. Consider and take necessary action on request to designate Park Avenue as a One-Way
street during the annual Fireworks Display between the hours of 5 pm and 10 pm in order
to deter traffic hazards. (GR)
11. Consider and take necessary action on request to designate Park A venue as One-Way
Street during the Crawfish Fest being held April 27, 2019, between the hours of 7 am and
8 pm in order to deter traffic hazards. Also designate the grass area north of the pier
between Jackson and Harrison to be utilized as golf cart parking only. (GR)

12. Consider and take necessary action on request from Port O'Connor Community Center
Association to proceed with fundraising for and purchase of a digital sign, replacing the
current sign, to be installed at the Port O'Connor Community Center. (GR)
13. Consider and take necessary action on request by Calhoun County EMS Director for
Authorization to submit a grant proposal to the M. G. & Lillie A. Johnson Foundation in
the amount of $75,000.00. (RM)
14. Consider and take necessary action on the EMS purchase of a perpetual plaque to be
utilized in the foyer of the EMS station as an ongoing recognition of each "Calhoun
County EMS Employee of the Year." This will serve to boost morale, recognize
outstanding service, and foster a sense of accomplishment within the department. (RM)
15. Consider and take necessary action on request by Calhoun County EMS Director to enter
into a Business Associate Agreement with Clarius which is required by patient health
information regulations. _(RM)
16. Consider and take necessary action to accept resignation from Dora Garcia, Calhoun
County Elections Administrator. (RM)
1 7. Consider and take necessary action on request from Commissioner Precinct # 1 to seek
grant funding opportunities through Rebuild Texas for radio system upgrade. (DH)
18. Consider and take necessary action on the purchase of two new Police Package Vehicle
(2019 Chevy Tahoe 4X2) fully outfitted. Total price for both units $112,613.00. (RM)
19. Consider and take necessary action on request by Sheriffs office to utilize Victoria Auto
Auction for the sale of vehicles that have been presented to Court previously as
surplus/salvage. (RM)
20. Consider and take necessary action to exclude from W-2s wellness incentives or rewards
under programs administered by TAC Health and Employee Benefits Pool that are
beyond the employer's direct control. (RM)

23. Consider and take necessary action to declare certain items of property in Precinct #3 as

24. Consider and take necessary action to declare a 2009 Dodge Pickup,
VIN#1D3HB189S760285 in the Calhoun County Sheriffs Office as Surplus/Salvage and
authorize the sale at auction. (RM)
25. Consider and take necessary action on transfer of vehicle 2012 Dodge Ram 4500
Ambulance VIN#3C7WDKCL9CG 133049 from Olivia/Port Alto VFD to Calhoun
County EMS. (CS)
26. Consider and take necessary action on request by Calhoun County EMS Director to
transfer Port Alto/Olivia's ambulance to Magnolia Beach and CCEMS Chevy Suburban
to Port Alto/Olivia as indicated on transfer form. (RM)
27. Consider and take action on any necessary budget adjustments.
28. Approval of bills and payroll.
29. Public discussion of County matters.
