The Commissioners' Court of Calhoun County, Texas will meet on September 24, 2009 at
10:00 a.m. in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the County Courthouse at 211 S. Ann
Street, Port Lavaca, Calhoun County, Texas.

1. Call meeting to order.
2. Invocation.
3. Pledge of Allegiance.
4. Hear from Representative Todd Hunter and Presentation of Resolution to County Judge
Michael J. Pfeifer.
5. Consider and take necessary action to approve specifications and authorize County
Auditor to advertise for bids for Prescription Drugs for the Calhoun County Adult
Detention Center and the Calhoun County Indigent Program for the period Beginning
January 1, 2010 and ending December 31, 2010. Bids will be due Thursday, November
5, 2009 and will be considered for award on Thursday, November 12, 2009. (CM)
6. Consider and take necessary action to approve specifications and authorize County
Auditor to advertise for bids for Medical Services for the Calhoun County Adult
Detention Center for the period Beginning January 1, 2010 and ending December 31,
2010. Bids will be due Thursday, November 5, 2009 and will be considered for award on

7. Consider and take necessary action to appoint Henry Barber to Golden Crescent Regional
Planning Commission Regional Homeland Security Advisory Committee as replacement
for Sheriff B. B. Browning. (MP)
8. Consider and take necessary action to establish October 22, 2009 as date for Public
Hearing on Petition to vacate a 10.94 acre portion of Lot 2, Section 8 of the J. D. Mitchell
Subdivision of Wolf Point Ranch. (NF)
9. Consider and take necessary action on Interlocal Agreement with City of Port Lavaca for
one-half purchase price of a 1989 Pierce Arrow Ladder Fire Truck, authorize County
Judge to sign Agreement, and authorize Payment in the amount of $39,375. (MP)
10. Consider and take necessary action on extension of Fixed Base Operation Lease
