The Commissioners' Court of Calhoun County, Texas will meet on September 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in
the Commissioners' Courtroom in the County Courthouse at 211 S. Ann Street, Port Lavaca, Calhoun
County, Texas.

The subject matter of such meeting is as follows:
1. Call meeting to order.

4. Consider and Take Necessary Action to award bid for Base Operator and Airport Manager Agreement
and authorize the County Judge to sign all necessary documents. (MP)
5. Hear Report from Memorial Medical Center.
6. Consider and Take Necessary Action on Change Order No. I for the Calhoun County EMS Substation
with an increase in the amount of $1,112.43. and authorize Commissioner Finster to sign. (KF)
7. Consider and Take Necessary Action on 2017/2018 EMS/Trauma Care System Fund Money (911-1131-
3588) Funds in the amount of $5,908.00. (MP)
8. Consider and Take Necessary Action on request by Elections Department for a County Credit card.

9. Consider and Take Necessary Action on request to Vacate a 1.01 acre tract of land situated in Outlot 4,
Outblock 35, Port O'Connor Townsite Outlots, as recorded in Volume 2, Page 1 of the Deed Records of

11. Consider and Take Necessary Action on request to Vacate a 6.743 acre tract of land comprised of a
portion of Lot 6, Block 9, and a portion of Lot 8, Block 10, Port O'Connor Townsite Outlots as recorded
in Volume 2, page 1 of the Deed Records of Calhoun County, Texas. (KF)
12. Consider and Take Necessary Action on Final Plat of VIP Estates. (KF)
13. Consider and Take Necessary Action on Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the City of Port
Lavaca regarding disaster -related vegetative debris collected from the City of Port Lavaca and staged at
the County Fairground property. (DH)
14. Consider and Take Necessary Action regarding Texas Department of Transportation Grant for Routine
Airport Maintenance Program (RAMP GRANT) (TxDot Project No. M161813PTLA) and authorize all
appropriate signatures. (VL)

15. Consider and Take Necessary Action to declare discretionary exemption from competitive bidding for
Hurricane Harvey emergency fuel purchases. (MP)
16. Consider and Take Necessary Action on Disaster Declaration concerning Guadalupe River Road and

17. Consider and Take Necessary Action to ratify Agreement between Calhoun County and Precision Flying
Service and authorize County Judge to sign. (MP)
18. Consider and Take Necessary Action on Independent Contractor Agreement for Prosecution Legal
Services between the Calhoun County Criminal District Attorney/Calhoun County and Jerry Clerk,
Attorney at Law and authorize District Attorney Dan Heard to sign. (MP)
19. Consider and Take Necessary Action on Maintenance Agreement between Calhoun County and Hurt's
Wastewater Management, Ltd. For septic system located at Magnolia Beach new restrooms and

Calhoun County for Hurricane Harvey Storm Recovery from Louis and Pamela Cuccia of Smyrna, TN.
The donations are on behalf of the Henry J. Huck Family. Henry Huck was the first Probate Judge of
Calhoun County. (MP)
26. Consider and take necessary action on the matter of declaring certain items of County property as
surplus/salvage.
27. Consider and take necessary action on matter of transferring certain items of County property from one
