FIELD NOTES of a survey of 10,414.17 acres of land made for the
Calhoun County Navigation District by virtue of an Application to Pur-
chase said land by the Calhoun County Navigation District. Said land is
situated in Calhoun County and Matagorda County and ranges from three and
one half miles to twenty-three miles south-easterly from Port Lavaca, the
County Seat of Calhoun County, Texas, and is described in four Parcels,
"A", "B", "C" and "E", by metes and boui0s as follows, to wit:
PARCEL "A", containing 2240.0 acres situated in Lavaca Bay, consists
of all State Tract No. 23 and No. 26, the north-east one-half of State
Tract No. 22, and the southeast one-half of State Tract No. 24 and the
southwest one-ha.lf of State Tract No. 38, according to the Revised Map
of Matagorda Bay and Vicinity as furnished by the General Land Office,
