Gentlemen:
Under date of June 6, 1950, acting under Orders of
Sale issued by Ue Hon. District Court of Calhoun County, Texas,
I as Sheriff of Calhoun County, sold at public auction several
tracts of land to satisty tax liens held by the State of Texas
and Calhoun County.
As required by law I have paid over to the Tax Collector
sufficient monies to p~ taxes, commissions and Court Cost ~~d
have paid the excess of $ 1,,,6J<).50)\ to Hon, C. J. Thomson, District
Clerk, Calhoun County, Texas.
I am herewith attaching an itemized list of the excess
monies together with Mr. Thomson's official receipt and reQuest
that it be incorporated in the minutes of the Commissioner is Court
in order that a permanent record may be had.
