The Commissioners' Court of Calhoun County, Texas will meet on March 22, 2012 at 10:00
a.m. in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the County Courthouse at 211 S. Ann Street,
Port Lavaca, Calhoun County, Texas.
AGENDA
The subject matter of such meeting is as follows:
1. Call meeting to order.
2. Invocation.
3. Pledge of Allegiance.
4. Approve Minutes of October 3, 2011 and December 22, 2011 Meetings.
5. Consider and Take Necessary Action to approve specifications and authorize the County
Auditor to advertise for bids on Resident Banking Software, Commissary Service &
Fiduciary Management Services for the Calhoun County Adult Detention Center. Bids
will be due Thursday, May 3, 2012 and considered for award on Thursday, May 10,
2012. (CM)
6. Consider and Take Necessary Action to approve the engagement of Rutledge Crain &
Company, PC, Certified Public Accountants, to perform the audit of the County's
financial statements for the year ending December 31, 2011 at an estimated fee of
$38,500 and authorize the County Judge to sign. (CM)
7. Consider and Take Necessary Action on Change Order No. 1, Magnolia Beach Boat
Ramp Improvements, TPWD Boating Access Grant Program — Project o. F-235-B and
authorize County Judge to sign all necessary documents. (MP)
8. Consider and Take Necessary Action on to accept as Complete and authorize Release of
Retainage - Magnolia Beach Boat Ramp Improvements TPWD Boating Access Grant
Program — Project No. F-235-B and authorize County Judge to sign all necessary
documents. (MP)
9. Consider and Take Necessary Action to change polling places: (DG)
Precinct 18 from Point Comfort City Hall to the Rick Brush Building
Precinct 19 from Olivia Community Center to the Olivia Fire Station
Precinct 20 from the Bauer Exhibit Building to the EMS Station
10. Consider and Take Necessary Action on Copier Lease and Maintenance Agreement with
BCOS and the Calhoun County EMS Department and authorize all appropriate
signatures. (HB)

11. Review hauling contracts from Waste Management of Texas and Republic Services and
sign contract deemed most cost effective to the County. (PK)
12. Consider and Take Necessary Action to authorize Commissioner Lyssy to enter into two
agreements with Victoria Communication Services (VCS Companies) for a two year
period and authorize Commissioner Lyssy to sign all necessary documents. (VL)
13. Consider and Take Necessary Action on Tax Resale Deeds and Resolutions Providing for
the Sale of Property Acquired by the County of Calhoun at Delinquent Tax Sale on the
following two properties and authorize County Judge to sign the Tax Resale Deeds: (MP)
(1) The Sanctuary Subdivision, Phase 2, Port O'Connor, Lot 79 being that
property more p[particularly described in Instrument #104481, Calhoun
County, Texas (Account #74379)
(2) Lots 11 & 12, Block 10, Westside, Calhoun County, Texas being that property
more particularly described in Vol. 94, Page 285 of the Deed Records,
Calhoun County, Texas (Account #22067)

20. Consider and take action on any necessary budget adjustments.
