2011-09-22 Agenda-S2SUPPLEMENTAL NOTICE
The Commissioners' Court of Calhoun County, Texas, will meet on Thursday,
September 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the County
Courthouse in Port Lavaca, Calhoun County, Texas.
AGENDA
In addition to the items previously posted the subject matter of such meeting to be heard
is as follows:
S2. Executive Session: The Commissioners' Court shall go into Executive
Session as authorized by V.T.C.A. Government Code Chapter 551. Following is
the subject matter of the Executive Session and the Specific Section of the Open
Meetings Act permitting discussion/deliberation in Executive Session.
Section 551.071 for the purpose of private consultation between the
governing body and its' attorney when the governing body seeks the attorney's
advice with respect to pending or contemplated litigation, settlement offers, and
matters where the duty of the governing body's counsel to his client pursuant to
the Code of Professional responsibility to the State Bar of Texas conflicts with the
Act.
2. Take necessary action on matters discussed in Executive Session.
This item will be heard no sooner than 3:00 p.m.
