The Commissioners' Court of Calhoun County, Texas will meet on March 12,2009 at 10:00
a.m. in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the County Courthouse at 21.1 S. Ann Street,
Port Lavaca, Calhoun County, Texas.
AGENDA
The subject matter of such meeting is as follows:
1. Call meeting to order.
2. Invocation.
3. Pledge of Allegiance.
4. Approve Minutes of Meetings held January 22, 2009, February 12, 2009, and February
23, 2009.
5. Award bids for Fuel to be Delivered and Fuel on Automated Card System for the period
March 16, 2009 through April 15, 2009. (CM)

6. Hear Report from Calhoun County Economic Development Corporation on Ground
Water District and take any action deemed necessary. (MP)
7. Appoint/reappoint Members to the Memorial Medical Center Board of Trustees. (MP)
8. Consider and take necessary action to award bids for RC-250 for period beginning March
12, 2009 and ending June 30, 2009. (CM)
9. Consider and take necessary action to award bids for the New Calhoun County EMS
station and authorize county Judge to sign the contract and any change orders (CM)
10. Consider and take necessary action to award bids for the Remodeling of the Calhoun
County Annex II and authorize county Judge to sign the contract and any change orders

11. Hear from JP#2 and JP #3 regarding blood alcohol kits and take any action deemed
necessary. (JD)
12. Consider and take necessary action to declare certain in EMS as surplus authorize County
Auditor to advertise for bids for the sale of these items; proceeds to be used to purchase

15. Consider and take necessary action on. Lease Agreement with Pitney Bowes for one
digital meter postage system (DM400C) to be utilized for indigent inmate postage and
authorize Eddie Musgrave to sign. (EM)
16. Consider and take necessary action on Certificate of Substantial Completion for 2008
Calhoun County Reroof Projects and authorize County Judge to sign. (MP)
17. Consider and take necessary action on Calhoun County Airport Certificate of Deposit.

Prescription Drugs for Calhoun County Indigents and the Calhoun County health
Department for the year beginning January 1, 2009 and ending December 31, 2009 and

19. Consider and take necessary action on Resolution regarding County of Calhoun 2010
Census. (MP)
20. Consider and take necessary action on Renewal of Coastal Lease CL20040003 with
Texas General Land Office and Authorize Commissioner Precinct #2 to sign. (VL)
21. Consider and take necessary action on Identity Theft Compliance Issues and Solutions for
Calhoun County as presented by DeGoLa RC&D representative (Lenny Anzaludua) and
the Business & Risk Consulting Group of America (Bert Howard, CITRMS). (NF)
22. Consider and take necessary action on Resolution accepting North Blackburn Street in
Precinct 91 from Exxon Mobile Corporation and authorize County Judge to sign. (RG)
23. Consider and take necessary action to renew and extend Order Prohibiting Outdoor

24. Consider and take necessary action to accept arbitrage reports for the year ending
