This subdivision Map of Lands under Oil and Gas Lease, as
hereon presented and filed for record, is made for the purpose of re-
assigning portions of the Oil and Gas Lease, and reference is to be made
to same for description and identification when said portions are re-
assigned. The said Oil and Gas Lease by A. H. Brundrett, Albert L.
Johnson and Wife, Gertrude Johnson, Pairs. L. B. Roberts, Mrs. Annie Teel,
A. A. Teel, Pars. Stella Hanshaw, Tb. Hanshaw, Mrs. Lottie Johnson, Amos
F. Johnson, Thomas C. Oberman, C. G. Oberman.,,Skidmore State Bank, H. S.
Bonham and W. E. Pope, being executed in favor.of J. M. Sansom, and -a
tract of 320 acres of land situated on the, lower part of Matagorda Is-
land in Calhoun County, Texas, being in the'Northeasterly part.of a one
league survey in the name of J. Power 'u J. U. Hewitson, designated as
League 2, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as
follows:.Beginning at the East corner of.said.League 2'on the shore'
line of said Gulf of Pdexico, as fixed by surveyor, E. S. Winsor, and now
recognized for the most Easterly corner of said League 2; thence N. 45
deg. W. following an old fence line for the N'Ely boundary of said League
2, 5229.68 ft. to the true point of beginning of this 320 acre tract;
thence continuing N. 45 deg. 17. along the N'Ely boundary of said League
2, 2347,68 ft. to a point; thence S. 45 deg. Wo 5937.43 ft. to a point
in the N.Ely boundary of a survey of 5009 acres of land just surveyed
for the Flavilla E. Brundrett et al; thence S. 45 deg. E. along said
N'Ely boundary, 2347#68 ft. to a point; thence N. 45 deg. E. 5937,43 ft.
to the true point of beginning, containing 320 acres, mre or less, of
said lease assigned by J. M. Saneom to R. S. Miesse and W. C. Hilton, as

1935, the Commissioners Court of Calhoun County, Texas, being in
regular session assembled, and it being brought to the attention of
the Court that Mr. R. S. Miesse and Mr. W. C. Hilton are desirous
of filing a subdivision maps of the Southerly Two hundred sixty-two
and sixty-nine one -hundredths (262.69) acres, more or less, of a
certain oil and gas lease of the IT. A. Brundrett and lrs. L. B.
Roberts, et al. Estate on Matagorda Island, Calhoun County, for ref-
erence and descriptive purposes to be used when reassigning portions
of Oil and Gas lease. The said Oil and Gas Lease by A. H. Brundrett,
Albert L. Johnson and 77ifer Gertrude Johnson, Mrs. L. B. Roberts,
Mrs. Annie Teel, A. A. Teel, Mrs. Stella Hanshaw, Tim. Hanshaw, Mrs.
Lottie Johnson, Amos F. Johnson, Thomas C. Oberman, C. G. Oberman,
Skidmore State Bank, H. S. Bonham and W. E. Pope, being executed in
favor of J. M. Sansom, and recorded in Book 26, Pages 241-247 Deed
Records of Calhoun County, Texas, and the Southerly Two hundred
sixty-two and sixty-nine one=hundredths (262.69) acres, more or less,
being assigned by J. M. Sansom to R: S. Mi.esse and W. C. Hilton, on
the Eighth day of Octoberr 1935, and recorded in Book 26, Pages
449-451, in Deed Records of Calhoun{County, Texas.
Therefore, on motion being duly made, seconded and unanimously
carried, it is ordered, adjudged and decreed that the County Clerk
be and he is hereby instructed to file said Subdivision Map of the
Southerly Two hundred"and" sixty-two and sixty-nine one -hundredths
