47HE AS, on February 12, 1940 PI. It. Sells did execute a
Idneral Lease to Jack L. Fletcher and Ed Lowrance in which W. R. Sells is termed
the "Grantor" and Jack L. i"letcher and Ed Lowrance are termed the "Grantee", said
lease being of record in Volume 39, Page 107 et seq., Deed Records of Calhoun
County, Texas, and covering and describing in that lease 946 acres owned by said
rb'. R, wells in the Sam Ilouston League of Land in Calhoun County, 'Texas, and
VMREAS', on I?ay 9, 1940 Jack L. Fletcher and' Ed Lowrance,
grantee in the above mineral lease, did file.a map and plat of the W. R. Sells
946 acres which shorts this land and adjacent lands subdivided and numbered for
convenience in making assignments of parcels of land under the foregoing described
lease, which map and plat was filed May 9, 1940 at 4:27 o'clock P.P.i., and recorded
in volume Z, Page 76, Plat Records of Calhoun County, Texas, ed
I�MREAS, on Iiay 17, 1940 V. R. Sells did execute to J. L.
Fletcher and Ed Lowrance an Oil and Gas Lease which is recorded in Volume 39, on
Page 208 et seq., Deed Records, Calhoun County, 'Texas, covering the same 946 acres:
described in the Mineral Lease, this second lease in part reading as follows: "Phis
lease is in lieu of and in correction of that certain Mineral Lease between the
same parties dated r'ebruary 12th., 1940, record_ in Vol. 39, Pages 107-9 of the
Calhoun County Deed Records."
DIMM3S, it is the desire of the grantee Jn the Mineral Lease
and Lessee in the Oil and Gas Lease, both above specifically described,.that a nevi
dedication be glade of this map and plat in which the reference shall be the Oil and
Gas Lease dated Iaay 17, 1940,and recorded in Volume 39, Page,203 et seq., Deed
Records of Calhoun County, Texas.
I1ow, Therefore, to effect the purpose above stated we, J. L.
Iletcher and Ed Lowranee,.do hereby make the following corrected dedication of the
map and plat of the W. R. Sells 946 acres and adjacent lands as shoran on the plat.
The -corrected dedication to be as follows:

presented and filed for record is made for the purpose of re -assigning portions of
the Oil and Gas Lease and reference is to be Lade to the swue for the description

was executed by 41. R. Sells in favor of J. L. rletcher and Ed Lowrance on May 17,
1940, and appears of record in Deed Records of Calhoun County, Texas, in Vol. 39, on
Pages 208 et seq.,
