COUNTY OF CALHOUN X
On this, the 14th day of February, 1961, at a
Regular Term of the Commissioners Court within and for said
County and State, with all members of the Court being present
and the County Judge presiding, a motion was made by
Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by Commissioner Barton, and
unanimously carried that the following order be passed;
CARL H. SCHICKE RE -SUBDIVISION
Whereas, Carl H. Schicke, as owner of lots 1 to 8,
inclusive, and lots 26, 28, and 38, inclusive, Schicke Point
Subdivision, has presented a proposed re -subdivision plat
for record; and,
Whereas, from an inspection on the ground, it
appears that such re -subdivision runs in elevation from high
ground into a marsh, and such roadways are partially on lands
which will be covered by water in high tides, and cannot be
maintained by the County until they are elevated along their
lengths, and hard surfaced on a 40 foot width;
Therefore, on motion duly made, seconded and carried,
IT IS ORDERED that the plat be filed for record but
that the proposed roadways not be considered for acceptance
and maintenance as public roads until elevated and hard surfaced
at the expense of the Subdivider, and that a copy of this order
be attached to the plat prior to record.
Passed this 14th day of February, 1961.
