The West Side Calhoun County Navigation District, acting by and through its duly
authorized Chairman, H. V. Heyland, does hereby certify that the land represented and
delineated upon the foregoing map is that same land surveyed on the ground under the
direction of William C. Mitchell, a State Licensed Land Surveyor of the State of
Texas, whose certificate is attached thereto, as authorized by the West Side Calhoun
County Navigation District for the intent to purchase said land from the Permanent
School Fund of the State of Texas; that said map is made for navigation channel
right-of-way purposes and, in compliance with the request of the General Land Office,
Austin, Texas, to submit said map to the Commissioners Court of Calhoun County Texas
for approval and authorization for filing in the Map Records of said County,
thereby being of permanent record and available for public use.

made on the ground under my direction, according to law, on the date and with the
Chain Carriers aforesaid, duly qualified, and that the Limits and Boundaries with the
